Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Clinical Operations to lead our Utilization Review department at Acadia Healthcare Inc. This is a full-time, exempt position that can be worked hybrid or fully remote.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilization Review Management: Monitor the utilization of services and optimize reimbursement for the facility while maximizing the use of patient provider benefits.
  • Concurrent and Retrospective Reviews: Conduct and oversee reviews for all patients, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Liaison and Collaboration: Act as a liaison between Medicaid reviewers and staff to facilitate the Utilization Review process, and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to provide optimal reviews.
  • Staff Management: Provide leadership and management to the Utilization Review team, including hiring, development, training, performance management, and communication.
  • Program Evaluation: Evaluate the UM program for compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures, and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in nursing or other clinical field required, Master's Degree in clinical field preferred.
  • Experience: Six or more years of clinical experience with the population of the facility preferred, four or more years of experience in utilization management required, and three or more years of supervisory experience required.
