Mercy is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a GIG RN. As a GIG RN, you will have the opportunity to work in various departments across our facilities, including Critical Care, Tele, Med/Surg, Women's Health, Labor and Delivery, Behavioral Health, and Emergency Department.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric patients.
- Float between designated Mercy Hospital facilities to meet staffing needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and Mercy's policies and procedures.
- Current Multistate Registered Nurse License.
- Minimum 1 year's RN hospital bedside experience, specialty-specific, within the last year.
- BLS certification.
- One or more certifications may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe.
- $40/hour base rate.
- Variable shift incentives.
- Minimum 1 shift in 90 days.
- 4, 8, & 12 hour shifts available.
- Work when and where you want.
