Job Summary

Spherion is seeking a highly organized and safety-oriented individual to fill the role of Yard Technician. This position is responsible for the construction and repair of units in compliance with policies and procedures and according to specifications aligned by Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with yard organization and cleanliness
  • Manage mobile office material inventory
  • Organize, maintain, load, and unload furniture
  • Remove and replace lighting, plumbing, and electrical components
  • Perform light carpentry work and repairs
  • Interface with customers at job sites
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 1-4 years of experience in construction or a related field
  • Problem-solving and communication skills
  • Forklift experience preferred, with willingness to train and certify
  • Basic technology experience, including phones and tablets
  • Utility trailer experience
  • Entry-level to intermediate-level construction experience required
  • Light carpentry and electrical experience
  • Organized and self-motivated individual
