About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Anesthesia Technician to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center, a nationally recognized healthcare leader. As an Anesthesia Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our anesthesia department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing anesthesia machines for use and maintaining stocks of necessary supplies.
- Provide support in trauma situations and perform tasks under the direction of the anesthesia provider.
- Contribute to the rapid turnover of cases requiring anesthesia services, adhering to the Spaulding classification system for cleaning and disinfection.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical/vocational degree preferred.
- One year of previous medical experience preferred.
- BLS certification required.
