The Technical Editor will offer editorial support to contractor analysts developing intelligence products in alignment with regulatory requirements and operational directives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that final documents are clearly written for the target audience, logically organized, grammatically accurate, and formatted according to established guidelines.
  • Modify templates in Microsoft Word for various product lines, ensuring compliance with ACIC policies.
  • Provide expert technical guidance to analysts in the planning and execution of publication processes.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with contractors and personnel from various intelligence agencies to address technical challenges related to publication and dissemination.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 12 years of relevant experience in intelligence analysis and technical editing, with at least 2 years within the last 2 years.

At least 2 years of experience with Desktop Publishing, basic graphic design, Adobe Acrobat, Photoshop, HTML, XML, and MS Office Suite.

A Master's Degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field from an accredited institution, or a Bachelor's Degree with 17 years of relevant experience.

Current Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in editing analytical products as outlined in the position summary.
