Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Airgas USA, LLC. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering compressed gas cylinders to local and regional business customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload compressed gas cylinders from our vehicles to customer locations.
  • Delivery and Pickup: Deliver compressed gas cylinders to external and internal customer sites, and collect empty cylinders or rejected merchandise.
  • Customer Service: Establish and maintain good customer relations, listen to and resolve service inquiries and complaints.
  • Communication: Provide timely communication to managers and customers regarding any changes or issues experienced during deliveries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies and ensuring all safety items are in good working order.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all safety rules are strictly observed and regulatory guidelines are followed, including those related to the Department of Transportation (DOT), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Requirements
  • Valid Driver's License: Possess a valid Class A or B driver's license.
  • Medical Examiner's Card: Hold a valid Medical Examiner's Card.
  • Certifications: Possess Hazmat and Airbrake certifications, or be able to acquire them as a condition of employment.
  • Experience: Have at least one year of prior Class A or B professional driving experience within the last five years, with a clean driving record.
  • Education: Hold a high school diploma or equivalent.
