About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive ADAS Senior Technician to join our team at Roush. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level technical support for advanced driver assist systems, electric vehicles, and autonomous vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electronic and assembly issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of advanced electrical and electronic systems.
  • Follow provided work instructions and technical documentation to ensure accurate and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Validate the functionality of DAT, ADAS, AV, and EV systems to ensure compliance with Roush and customer standards.
  • Assemble, modify, and repair wiring harnesses from schematics using hand tools and proper assembly techniques.
  • Train and mentor team members on job responsibilities and provide subject matter expertise to assist the team and customers.
  • Validate the quality of wire harness assemblies and system installations.
  • Work collaboratively with small teams to complete daily engineering requirements.
  • Track inventory of project parts and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 8 years of mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of ADAS, EV, or AV experience.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.
  • Excellent proficiency in wiring systems and harnesses.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, and mentor and train others.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent fluency with vehicle diagnostic hardware and software, and good knowledge of vehicle integration software and data collection.
Preferred Qualifications
  • National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Advanced Driver Assistance Systems Certification (L4).
  • Associate degree in Engineering Technology or similar.
  • Familiarity with oscilloscope or picoscope.
