Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Infant Educator to join our team. This role involves working with infants to create a warm, nurturing environment that fosters their social and emotional development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with providing comprehensive services to children ages 6 weeks through 17 months.
  • Maintain awareness of the developmental level of all children in the classroom, continually supervising and interacting with them.
  • Assist with designing a safe and attractive learning environment.
  • Welcome, talk with, and/or meet with parents as needed.
  • Assist with implementing developmental assessments, child observations, anecdotal records, and other relevant information to share with the team.
Requirements
  • A current Infant CDA credential or a state-awarded certificate that meets or exceeds the requirements for a CDA credential, OR enrolled and actively pursuing an AA/AS or BA/BS in Early Childhood Education or a degree in a related field.
  • 6 months of experience in an early childhood setting, 9 semester credits.
  • Preferred: CDA, Associates in child development or early childhood education, or bachelor's in any field.
  • Experience as an assistant teacher, aide, or student intern in an early childhood center.
  • Experience working with early childhood children in a childcare center preferred.
  • Experience serving multi-cultural, socially diverse population desired.
  • First Aid and CPR certified or willing to be certified within the first 90 days of work.
Compensation

$25.00 hourly wage, Full-Time, Monday through Friday, between 8:30 a.m. to 5:45 p.m., Medical, dental, and vision insurance available, Company-paid life and disability insurance, 401(k) with employer contribution at 6 months, 40 days of PTO per year, Reduced cost parking or metro pass, Cellphone reimbursement, Reduced childcare rates, 12 weeks of paid parental leave, Financial wellness benefit.
