Job Title: BBQ Chef
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $65,000 per year
Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ is seeking an experienced BBQ Chef to join our team. As a BBQ Chef, you will be responsible for preparing meals using a variety of techniques, including grilling, roasting, and sautéing.
The ideal candidate for this position has prior relevant experience and familiarity with basic cooking supplies and equipment is preferred. He or she must be committed to the customers, reliable to his or her co-workers, and be a self-motivated, organized, and detailed individual.
In addition to food preparation duties, the successful candidate will ensure a proper supply of clean dishware, pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available. They will also be responsible for cleaning work areas and all equipment used in food preparation.
To succeed in this role, you should have basic culinary skills or equivalent experience, knowledge of general sanitary and safety practices, and ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
