Key Responsibilities:- Direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, taking into account their unique needs and preferences.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring that all medications are properly documented and stored.
- Conduct regular rounds with physicians to discuss patient progress and address any concerns.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that residents receive comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes and medication administration records.
- Current unencumbered state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to move intermittently throughout the workday.
- Ability to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position.
- Ability to meet the general health requirements set forth by the policies of this facility.
