We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our Meat Department team at Whole Foods Market. As a Butcher, you will be responsible for cutting, preparing, and displaying meat products to our customers. Key Responsibilities

• Cut, prepare, and display meat products to meet customer demands.
• Ensure high-quality products are available for customers by checking product freshness and quality.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to Whole Foods Market's high standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and making recommendations on meat products.
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive store image.
• Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, including cuts, cooking techniques, and nutritional information.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership to ensure the success of the Meat Department.

Requirements

• 14+ months retail experience, preferably in a meat department.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for natural foods and commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to temperatures: 90 degrees Fahrenheit.
• Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
• Ability to handle knives and other cutting equipment.
