Job Summary:
This position requires flexibility, including at least 2 weekend days per month, as well as weekdays as needed. As an Occupational Therapist I, you will work with patients whose abilities to cope with daily tasks are impaired by developmental deficiencies, aging, medical concerns, or psychological and social disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Document patient activities and instruct patients, family, and students in occupational therapy techniques.
  • Manage OT caseload efficiently and effectively, ensuring timely completion of tasks and documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate clinical programs in response to patient needs, technologies, clinical practices, regulations, and reimbursement.
  • Provide clinical supervision and teaching for OT students or staff, evaluating their performance and providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Select and perform appropriate OT evaluation procedures to identify and assess problems, setting treatment goals and devising a treatment plan.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of North Carolina.
  • No prior experience required.
