As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at NewYork-Presbyterian, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, cardiac cath labs, and OB cases. Our team of experienced CRNAs provides general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer anesthesia for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures
- Coordinate all aspects of clinical care to ensure delivery of high-quality services
- Manage staffing needs and provide staff development opportunities
- Plan activities, recognition, and training sessions to increase engagement and cohesion among the anesthesia team
- At least 1 year of experience as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- Masters of Science in Nursing
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
- BCLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
