Job Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate system requirements and develop test cases, scenarios, and procedures to ensure the SSDS meets performance standards.
  • Execute testing procedures, analyze data, and create concise reports to identify issues and characterize their impact on the system.
  • Collaborate with an integrated test team and provide backup data, research, and analysis to support test findings and software certification recommendations.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Navy Surface Ship Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul processes and programs.
Requirements
  • Eight years of experience in Combat Systems Engineering, with at least five years working with the SSDS Combat System and interfacing sensors and ship systems.
  • Three+ years of experience with Data Links (Link-11 and Link-16) and Strike Group Interoperability (SGI).
  • Minimum 40% travel required for test events and emergent testing, primarily to Wallops Island, VA, Moorestown, NJ, Corona, CA, DAM Neck, VA, and Arlington, VA.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Experience with Next Generation Simulation (NGS) or other simulations is beneficial.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational abilities.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on location and qualifications. Benefits include an active Secret clearance, US citizenship, and opportunities for professional growth and development within ManTech.
