About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Cardiac Care Nurse to join our team at Mercy. As a Cardiac Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-operative CABG and open-heart patients, TAVRs, and other post-cath-lab intervention patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to patients with cardiac conditions, including post-operative CABG and open-heart patients, TAVRs, and other post-cath-lab intervention patients.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including EKGs, and titrate medications as needed.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing required.
  • Current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification through an American Heart Association approved program.
  • At least one year previous experience in clinical nursing preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred.
