Job Summary

The successful candidate will support the Space Systems Division in the development of aerospace products and support equipment. Key responsibilities include analysis of structural hardware, assemblies, and complex systems. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of analytical methods, finite element modeling, and simulation tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural analysis of aerospace products and support equipment
  • Develop and utilize finite element models and simulations
  • Apply analysis tools to produce models and perform analyses
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • 4-8 years of direct experience in structural analysis
  • Proven working knowledge of Femap, NASTRAN, Abaqus, and/or ANSYS software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
  • Experience in a lead position with technical responsibility
  • Experience working on projects for DoD, NASA, or the commercial space industry
