We are looking for a highly skilled Environmental Regulatory Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our environmental compliance team, you will provide day-to-day advice to Amazon's Environmental Assurance and Protection team on regulations governing our operations, facilities, and products. Your expertise in transactional and technology licensing will enable you to monitor and advise compliance, business, and legal teams on upcoming regulatory changes and maintenance of existing compliance processes.
In this role, you will provide mission-critical legal advice on the design of safety mechanisms and technology tools developed and used by the environmental compliance team. You will also advise on internal processes and practices to support environmental compliance governance requirements and expectations. Serving as lead counsel in the response and resolution of environmental regulatory inquiries is another critical aspect of this position.
