Electrical Equipment Technician

The Army National Guard relies on a wide range of systems to protect and serve the force, and as a Quartermaster and Chemical Equipment Specialist, you'll be responsible for ensuring those systems operate at peak performance.
To perform these functions, you'll train to maintain laundry and bath equipment, pumps, engines, burners, filter units, and water purification units.
Your skills will contribute to maintaining special purpose equipment, decontamination and protective filter systems, smoke generator systems, and chemical electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service internal combustion engine ignition/fuel/cooling/electrical systems
Training and Career Opportunities:
Through your training, you'll develop the skills and experience to enjoy a civilian career with the marine transportation, commercial fishing, oil exploration, or oil drilling industries. You'll be able to consider a future as a marine engine mechanic.
In the Army National Guard, you'll learn these valuable job skills while earning a regular paycheck and qualifying for tuition assistance.
