Position Overview:

As a Medical Oncology Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting pets battling cancer. This position requires a compassionate approach and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Our technicians develop strong relationships with both patients and clients, ensuring a supportive environment during challenging times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments, demonstrating excellent venipuncture skills.
  • Facilitate and manage client communications through various channels.
  • Organize and schedule appointments, ensuring efficient workflow.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred: State Registered Veterinary Technician license.
  • Required: Prior veterinary experience; oncology experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency in calculations related to medications and treatments.
  • Flexibility in work hours and willingness to work additional hours as needed.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
