About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practical Nurse to join our team at the Charles Egeler Reception and Guidance Center. As a Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide total patient care for an assigned group of patients, including assessing patients, administering medications, and providing education on health and wellness.
  • Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by our medical team.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare practices and technologies.
Requirements:
  • Possession of a certificate from a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the state of Michigan.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with our healthcare team.
