Pediatric Pulmonology Clinical Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Pulmonology Clinical Specialist to join our team at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria. As a key member of our department, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to pediatric patients, including outpatient and inpatient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide health assessments, determine diagnoses, and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of medical staff privileges.
  • Participate in educational experiences for nursing students, medical students, residents, and other healthcare disciplines.
  • Manage patient care within assigned areas and parameters of medical staff privileges.
  • Obtain patient health histories and perform diagnostic, preventive, and therapeutic procedures.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Doctorate degree in Nursing.
  • Staff nursing experience in Pediatrics and Pulmonology preferred.
