We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Cath Lab team at UnityPoint Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients' cardiovascular health.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering moderate conscious sedation and interpreting EKG rhythms.
- Lead emergent situations and establish a climate of mutual respect and trust with patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care and support.
- Document patient status and care given while the patient is in the Cardiovascular and Radiology Departments.
- Conduct patient education and support, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure education.
- Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in Iowa.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or within three (3) months from date of hire.
- ACLS certified within 1 year.
- At least 1 year of experience in Critical Care setting.
- Previous Cath Lab experience, EPIC EMR system experience, and Apollo Documentation knowledge are preferred.
