Job Title: Family Nurse Practitioner (PT) - Paragon Infusion Centers

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (PT) to join our team at Paragon Infusion Centers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, administer ordered therapies, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policy and procedures.
  • Complete admission process as directed by Center Director.
  • Perform physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.
  • Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.
  • Document all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.
  • Report all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and be responsible for the follow-up on any problem identified.
  • Communicate effectively with other members of the IV team on patient status and observations.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality at all times by abiding by HIPAA laws and regulations.
  • Evaluate the patient's response to therapy and document this finding in the medical record.
  • Educate patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.
  • Participate in the Quality Improvement program.
  • Ensure that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate, and up-to-date prior to treatment.
  • Participate in On-Call program, which may include after-hours, weekend, and holiday calls and visitations.
  • Provide clinical coverage for nurse practitioners on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches.

Requirements:

  • Requires an MS in Nursing and a minimum of 2 years of related experience with clinical emphasis for nurse practitioner; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience with IVs required.
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted NP license to practice as a healthcare professional within the scope of license in applicable state required in applicable state required.
  • Requires active, current, and valid Family Nurse Practitioner Certification.
  • Multi-state licensure is required if this individual is providing services in multiple states.
  • Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.
  • Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience with IVs strongly preferred.

Work Environment:

This position is located in Naples, FL, and requires the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will be required to work up to 32 hours per week between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
