The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the upkeep of our residential properties, assisting the property management team, and promptly addressing maintenance concerns within our communities. Safety for residents, fellow team members, and oneself is of utmost importance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the comprehensive maintenance of grounds, amenities, building exteriors, leasing offices, parking areas, and other community facilities.
  • Conduct daily trash removal from office spaces and throughout the apartment community.
  • Assist in preparing units for new residents by clearing debris from vacant apartments prior to readiness.
  • Support the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager by executing assigned maintenance tasks efficiently.
  • Contribute to the cleaning of available apartments and model units.
  • Assist in diagnosing and addressing mechanical, carpentry, and electrical issues.
  • Report any maintenance concerns regarding available apartments, models, the clubhouse, and communal areas to the Maintenance Supervisor.
Qualifications:
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more.
  • Maintain a tidy, professional appearance at all times during work hours and while present in the community.
  • Possess mechanical aptitude and knowledge to operate and repair various industrial equipment.
  • Familiarity with essential handbook guidelines and security protocols.
  • Strong verbal communication skills to effectively engage with employees, guests, and service providers.
  • Able to perform the aforementioned tasks independently without reliance on external contractors.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • 1-2 years of prior experience in groundskeeping or porter roles is preferred.
