Floorcovering Management

Join Sherwin-Williams, a leading provider of floorcovering solutions, as a Sales and Operations Trainee in our Floorcovering Management and Sales Development Program. This exciting opportunity will equip you with the skills and knowledge to succeed in a dynamic sales and management role.

Our 18-24 month program is designed to prepare you for a Floorcovering Facility Management or Sales Representative role. You will work closely with our experienced team to develop your skills in sales, operations, and leadership. With a strong focus on customer service and relationship-building, you will learn how to drive sales growth and optimize profitability.

• Support business strategies to increase sales and optimize profitability
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Build and maintain knowledge of all products to ensure effective customer recommendations
• Build positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Support employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A bachelor's degree by the start of the program
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• A valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion

We are looking for candidates with:

• At least one year of experience working in a retail, sales, or customer service position
• At least one year of experience in a leadership role or supervising others
• Previous experience working in a team-oriented setting
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
