Job Title: Part Time Produce Clerk

This is a part-time position that requires a high level of customer service and product knowledge. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process and stock produce products according to company standards
  • Provide customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Work effectively with fellow associates to create a positive shopping experience
  • Perform duties of floral clerk when assigned
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers and associates
  • Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and perform operations using units of American money and weight measurement
Work Environment:

The work environment is cool with an average temperature range of 55-60 degrees Fahrenheit. The associate will be frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.

Compensation:

Harris Teeter reasonably expects to pay between $15.35/hour and $18.35/hour for this role as a newly hired associate. Pay may depend on previous experience and skill sets of the applicant.
