Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at The Arora Group. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality medical imaging services to our patients.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing a wide range of CT examinations, including virtual colonoscopy, multi-phase exams of the liver, pancreas, kidneys, coronary and/or cardiac angiograms, calcium scores, pre-cardiac ablations, cystograms, and brain perfusions. You will work independently to initialize scans, set parameters, and perform examinations using advanced multi-detector CT technology.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform standard and complex CT examinations, including virtual colonoscopy and multi-phase exams.
  • Initialize scans, set parameters, and perform examinations using advanced multi-detector CT technology.
  • Work independently to coordinate work with additional technologists when procedures require assistance.
  • Receive, review, screen, and schedule patients for examinations and provide preparation instructions.
  • Interpret lab results, evaluate Glomerular Filtration Rate (GFR), and determine risk for developing Contrast Induced Nephropathy (CIN) and/or renal failure.
  • Evaluate the nature of any critical/emergency examinations and rearrange patient priorities to accommodate them.
  • Obtain and annotate pertinent medical records/history from patients and staff to determine most adequate means/equipment needed for advantageous examinations.
  • Ensure that examination preparations are accurately followed, positions patients, and makes exposures necessary to accomplish the examinations requested.
  • Secure venous access and expertly monitor patient's condition during examinations for signs of infiltration or anaphylactic/allergic reactions to contrast and, if necessary, render emergency aid while following proper emergency code procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Graduated from an accredited program or military equivalent program in order to meet the education requirements established for the certification(s) listed below.
  • Maintain a current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification as CT Technologist.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience within the last five (5) years providing services as a certified CT Technologist.
  • Maintain a current Medical Radiologic Technologist license.
  • Must be an US citizen for access to government computers.
