Quik Travel Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Critical Care Nurse to fill a travel position in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting.

Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate ICU Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As a travel nurse with Quik Travel Staffing, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and healthcare teams, while also enjoying a competitive pay package and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Perform and document ongoing assessments, tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
  • Participate in coordination and education of patient needs with patient care team, family, and patient.
  • Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition; implement and revise plan of care according to patient's status.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
  • Respond to a medical emergency and alert appropriate team members.
  • Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.
  • Availability to work the facility's required schedule.
  • Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of critical care experience as an ICU nurse.
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing school.
  • Current state-specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing.
  • BLS certification required.
  • ACLS certification required.
  • May require CCRN certification.
