Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and caring individual to assist our nursing staff in providing resident care. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks, including:
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring residents
- Monitoring residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Assisting with medication administration and documentation
- Participating in care planning and implementing interventions to meet residents' needs
The Certified Nursing Assistant will be responsible for:
- Providing direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living
- Assisting with resident transfers, including lifting, turning, and positioning
- Monitoring residents' condition and reporting any changes to the nursing staff
- Participating in care planning and implementing interventions to meet residents' needs
- Documenting resident care and progress in the medical record
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of employment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
