We are seeking a digital project manager to serve as the lead on various digital projects, including website production, mobile applications, email, social, and integrated marketing campaigns for our clients. This role requires liaison between our clients and technical and creative teams. Your responsibilities include gathering/analyzing data and client requirements, working with the technical team to create and deliver a plan meeting those requirements, running logistics on the project, overseeing the team's efforts to carry out the plan, and delivering the finished product to the client.

A successful digital project manager at Hiebing must be a helpful mentor, team partner, and client partner rolled into one. You must have a solid understanding of agile methodologies, a passion for technology and the digital space, and intelligently speak the language and interpret and document technical requirements. We are looking for a candidate with previous familiarity with digital marketing tactics, technologies, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Orient yourself with client goals and objectives to develop a strategic digital marketing plan using data and insights as the foundation.
  • Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to gather functional and technical requirements to define detailed project plans and timelines.
  • Manage the execution of digital projects from start to finish and apply learnings to future projects.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensure resources are available, and hold others accountable for deliverables.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain project scope and communicate status of scope to team members.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing or a related web/technology field.
  • Assertive yet polite - able to drive progress and take charge when necessary. A bias for action and hustle.
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage budgets in a fast-paced agency setting.
  • Background in digital web development processes (basic understanding of HTML, JS, CSS, PHP, MySQL, and web infrastructure a plus).
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies.
  • Possess a passion for online marketing and staying current with industry issues and trends.
  • Capacity to provide clear instructions and proper documentation when necessary.
  • Ability to think clearly and diplomatically during discussions about complex questions from internal groups.
  • Experience with various project management platforms a plus.
  • Agency experience desired.
  • Ability to work hybrid in an open-office environment.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
