Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician/Technologist to join our team at Winona Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing laboratory services in the Anatomic Pathology Lab and MOHS Dermatology Clinic Lab.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform laboratory services in accordance with established protocols and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Work in partnership with staff and providers to provide histology lab services.
  • Assist with the teaching/training of lab staff and others in histology laboratory policies/procedures/principles.
  • Evaluate and troubleshoot test system performance, and participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement activities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of histology laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
Working Conditions

The Histology Technician/Technologist will work in the Anatomic laboratory and/or the MOHS laboratory, and may be required to work occasional Saturdays.
