About the School of Materials Science and Engineering
The School of Materials Science and Engineering at Georgia Tech is seeking applications for a Lecturer position. Position Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lectures to undergraduate and/or graduate students in the field of Materials Science and Engineering. We particularly encourage applications from individuals with a focus on evidence-based instructional methods and educational research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging lecture instruction (typically 12-18 credit hours annually) for undergraduate courses in Materials Science and Engineering.
- Collaborate with faculty to ensure a consistent and high-quality educational experience for students.
- Create supplemental digital resources to enhance course instruction.
- Potentially instruct graduate-level courses and develop corresponding instructional materials.
Qualifications
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering, or a related field, along with a strong foundation in engineering education.
