Role Responsibilities:
- Support youth clients by addressing their behavioral, social, and emotional needs in diverse environments.
- Engage in one-on-one interactions to assist clients in overcoming personal challenges that affect their educational and social development.
- Document services accurately and ensure adherence to each client's personalized treatment plan.
- Participate in client activities and maintain supervision during transitions and various events.
- Advocate for clients and their families, ensuring their needs are recognized and met.
- Provide guidance to parents to enhance their understanding of their child's behavioral needs and available community resources.
- Administer medication as required, ensuring proper logging and care.
- Prepare meals with clients while maintaining safety and hygiene standards.
- Attend staff meetings and contribute to team discussions and planning.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma is required; additional education is preferred.
- Certification in Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training is mandatory and will be provided upon hiring.
- Experience working with youth, particularly those with emotional and behavioral challenges, is advantageous.
- A valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance are necessary.
