Position: Controls Engineer

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 per annum

Company Overview:
We are currently looking for a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. This full-time role is based in the St. Louis area and offers a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package. The ideal candidate will possess a background in automation, although those with strong PLC and HMI experience will also be considered as training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze mechanical designs and assess customer specifications to determine the most effective control system solutions.
  • Work closely with Mechanical Engineers, Tooling Designers, and Project Managers to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of machinery.
  • Assist in procurement processes, providing updates and options to maintain budgetary and delivery timelines.
  • Support manufacturing operations by monitoring progress, offering technical guidance, conducting final inspections, and completing necessary approvals.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial control system applications, including variable speed drives, servo drive systems, PLCs, HMIs, and automation technologies.
  • At least 4 years of experience in electrical design and safety system design, including schematics and panel layouts, as well as programming and application of VFD drives, servo drives, PLCs, and HMIs.
