Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Aberdeen area. This is a part-time position (.5) for the remainder of the school year.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to assess students' needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to support students' academic and functional goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings, to promote skill development and independence.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of goals and objectives.
  • Work closely with other members of the educational team to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • WA Occupational Therapist Licensure.
  • Experience in school-based settings preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work collaboratively with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
