Job Summary

This part-time, non-benefited position is located in the General Education Division and reports to the Program Director of Humanities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
  • Evaluate students' progress in attaining goals and objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain all required documentation and administrative reports.
  • Display a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operate effectively within the organizational structure; demonstrate trustworthiness and responsible behavior.
  • Assist with recruitment, retention, and job placement efforts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in the fulfillment of the needs, philosophy, and purpose of Gwinnett Technical College.
Requirements
  • Doctorate or Master's degree in the discipline or Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in the discipline.
  • Postsecondary teaching experience is preferred.
Work Environment

This position requires a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, with occasional movement about to accomplish tasks.
