Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at AHN Neighborhood Hospital. As a Radiology Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging department equipment, including X-Ray and CT scanners
- Perform imaging exams in accordance with established policies and procedures
- Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to assist physicians, nurses, and other staff members
- Collect laboratory samples and perform lab testing as needed
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all imaging activities
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology required
- Certified as a medical radiologic technologist as required by the state in which practicing
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography required
- Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- Associates Degree in Radiology preferred
- CT Certification preferred
- Registered Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in computed tomography preferred
- 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience preferred
- 1+ years of CT experience preferred
