Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Runner to join our team at Estiatorio Ornos in San Francisco. As a Food Runner, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Transport food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely and efficient manner.
- Ensure that all food and beverages are delivered to the correct table and in the correct condition.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Provide exceptional service to our guests, responding to their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a fine dining or casual fine dining high-volume atmosphere.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong food knowledge and ability to learn and retain information quickly.
- Ability to work clean, organized, and as part of a team.
- Ability to move and lift 40 pounds at a time.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to stand and walk for an extended period of time.
