CT Scan Technician Part Time Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Scan Technician to join our team at Methodist Hospital Atascosa.
Job Description- Demonstrate expertise in all areas of computerized tomography (CT), positioning, procedure preparation, and technical factors associated with the CT Systems.
- Display knowledge in the use of all other equipment used in CT Scan such as power injectors, stereotactic biopsy equipment, biopsy and drainage needles and devices.
- FOLLOW safety policies and procedures applicable to the job, recognizing impending crisis situations and institute measures to prevent further complications.
- Maintain cleanliness and inventory of the CT rooms to include equipment and facilities by following proper disinfection techniques.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Medical Board.
- Must have ARRT(R) with one year experience in radiology at time of hire.
Methodist Hospital Atascosa has been nationally recognized as a Five-Star rated facility by the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services and by its grade A Leapfrog Hospital Safety score. The hospital is also a recipient of the Excellence in Patient Safety Across the Board Award and is designated as a Level IV trauma center and Ambulatory Services Sleep Center.
Compensation and BenefitsThe estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
