About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Medical-Surgical Nurse to join our team at Blodgett Hospital. As a member of our Med/Surg unit, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, including those with nasogastric tubes, urinary catheters, and urologic care.
  • Manage enteral and parenteral feeding, and care for wounds, ostomies, tubes, and drains.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Provide education to patients and families on disease management, medication, and self-care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

Requirements
  • Associates in Nursing degree required.
  • Bachelor's in Nursing degree required within 5 years.
  • MI Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days.
