The School of Business and Professional Careers at Westchester Community College is in search of an enthusiastic professional to contribute as a Fashion Industry Adjunct Instructor.
Location: Valhalla, NY
Role Overview:
- Deliver educational courses focused on the fashion sector, including visual merchandising, textiles, and global purchasing.
- Showcase visual strategies and create engaging displays.
- Encourage student participation through interactive learning methods.
- Incorporate technology effectively within the educational environment.
- Support students in organizing the annual fashion showcase.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Fashion Marketing, Fashion Design, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant professional experience.
Desirable Attributes:
- 5 years of high-level experience within the fashion industry.
- 3 years of instructional experience at the collegiate level.
Compensation: $82.57 per hour. No benefits included.
