We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring cardiac and/or pulse oximetry monitors to identify, record, and report normal and abnormal heart rhythm patterns.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor cardiac rhythm and/or oxygen saturation on patients
- Enter patient information into the monitor system
- Report changes in patient status to the RN and to the next shift
- Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and perform periodic preventative maintenance
- Collect, evaluate, and document each patient's cardiac rhythm, status once each shift or as ordered
- High school education or GED required
- Knowledgeable in use of computers and GE monitoring system
- Prior experience as a Monitor Technician, EMT, or Paramedic is helpful
