Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Guthrie Clinic. As a Telemetry Technician, you will be responsible for monitoring cardiac and/or pulse oximetry monitors to identify, record, and report normal and abnormal heart rhythm patterns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm and/or oxygen saturation on patients
  • Enter patient information into the monitor system
  • Report changes in patient status to the RN and to the next shift
  • Maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and perform periodic preventative maintenance
  • Collect, evaluate, and document each patient's cardiac rhythm, status once each shift or as ordered
Requirements
  • High school education or GED required
  • Knowledgeable in use of computers and GE monitoring system
  • Prior experience as a Monitor Technician, EMT, or Paramedic is helpful
