Job Title: Registered Nurse Leader

Equiliem is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Leader to join our team. As a key member of our nursing department, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Center Nurse Executive to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care.
  • Effectively utilize existing resources to minimize overtime and agency personnel.
  • Participate in staff recruitment, assessment, and development to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Assist with the Individual Performance Improvement Plan for staff whose performance does not meet center expectations.
  • Recommend and facilitate employee promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide timely and effective care consistent with individual needs and preferences.
  • Answer emergencies and provide guidance on medical procedures.
  • Foster a strong partnership between the medical staff and the department of nursing.
  • Makes recommendations on nursing care equipment and supplies.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality improvement.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current registered nurse licensure.
  • A minimum of three years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience, with a minimum of two years in a management/administrative or supervisory capacity.
  • BSN preferred.
  • Maintains current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of computer use and Point Click Care (PCC) system.
  • Ability to create a patient-centered environment.
  • Knowledgeable of Genesis policies and procedures, MDS process, state nurse practice acts, and state and federal regulations.
