We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to perform medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
In this role, you will review behavioral health records electronically and conduct comprehensive assessments in person for each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through a secure web portal.
The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations, but rather provides findings used by the U.S. Veterans Administration in making these decisions.
This position performs Disability Assessments exclusively for Veterans and involves reviewing and assessing approximately 4 individuals per day on average.
Schedule: 3 days a week, 8am-5pm
This is an in-person position requiring Independence Contractor status.
Requirements include a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program, an active and unrestricted Psychology license, and meeting credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Benefits include malpractice insurance coverage by MRG Exams and options for health insurance.
We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $60,000-$80,000 annually, based on location and experience.
