**Job Summary:**

Maintain a clean and organized environment in our residence, ensuring a safe and healthy space for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, and vacuum all floors, carpets, and stairways; clean bathroom sinks, showers, tubs, and mirrors; empty garbage in all rooms and offices daily; dust and polish all furniture and A/C vents.
  • Garbage and Recycling: Responsible for all garbage removal and collecting recyclable items; maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and submit orders as needed.
  • Organization and Storage: Store household supplies in their designated areas; organize cabinets, closets, and storage areas.
  • Additional Tasks: Clean elevators (if applicable); ensure walkways are clear of obstructions; wipe down countertops and cabinets; clean appliance faces and inside microwaves; clean kitchen fan vents; move furniture and sweep/dust behind it; clean windows and window screens; empty dirty water from buckets; sweep area in front/back of house and remove debris.

Essential Physical Requirements:

  • Able to mop, sweep, climb ladders, and use basic household equipment/appliances.
  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, kneel, and crouch.
  • Able to frequently reach, twist, and make repetitive hand movements.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull weight up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping and/or cleaning in a health care facility.
  • Ability to understand and communicate in English.
  • Knowledge of OSHA Regulations and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ability to read printed materials and computer screens.
