The ideal candidate will possess a blend of medical expertise, administrative capabilities, and a commitment to delivering empathetic patient care.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and [second language], both spoken and written, is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is necessary.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to varying workloads.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with community members, staff, and stakeholders at all levels.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accurately measuring and documenting vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse rate, and respiratory rate.
- Assisting healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
- Performing basic medical tasks under supervision, such as administering injections, drawing blood, and aiding in minor surgical procedures.
- Translating and interpreting medical information between healthcare professionals and patients.
- Providing basic wound care and applying dressings as needed.
- Recording patient data, medical histories, and vital signs accurately in electronic health records (EHR) or medical charts.
- Ensuring all documentation is thorough and current.
- Educating patients by explaining procedures, medications, and follow-up instructions.
- Addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding their healthcare.
Additional Duties: All other responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

- Capability to work efficiently and professionally in a dynamic environment.
- Attention to detail, analytical skills, and precision in all tasks.
- Aptitude for managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously while adhering to flexible deadlines and expectations.
Physical Requirements: The role is performed in a fast-paced office and community environment, which may involve local travel. Physical demands include prolonged periods of sitting or standing and phone usage. Lifting and transporting medical equipment and supplies (5-10 lbs.) may be necessary.
Compensation: Salary will be determined based on education and experience.
