About This Role:
As a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. Your responsibilities will include assessing and treating patients, collaborating with the emergency room team, and ensuring efficient delivery of emergency care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide rapid assessment and treatment to patients with emergent medical conditions.
- Administer medications, perform procedures, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize patients and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Monitor patient vital signs, response to treatment, and changes in condition, adjusting care plans as necessary to address emergent needs.
- Advocate for patients' needs and coordinate care transitions, including admissions to inpatient units or referrals to specialty services.
- Educate patients and their families on post-emergency care instructions, follow-up appointments, and community resources for ongoing support.
Requirements:
- Current RN license
- BLS (Other Certifications as required by facility)
- Two years of recent ER RN experience
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
