Product Line Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Line Engineer to join our team at Goodwin Recruiting. This role offers the opportunity to drive product design, development, and production from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage new product designs from prototype to first production run
  • Set annual goals for the product line and maintain bills of materials, kits, and option codes
  • Provide technical cut sheets and drawings, and approve electrical, flow, and assembly drawings
  • Analyze test data to ensure performance standards are met
  • Approve production documentation changes and support sales with technical expertise for RFQs
  • Provide serial tag info and customer support as needed
  • Collaborate with purchasing on component upgrades and cost reduction
  • Lead new product development based on market feedback and conduct research for purchasing
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in product development, engineering, or manufacturing support
  • Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on cross-departmental teamwork
