Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Basketball Coach to join our team at the Los Gatos Community. As a key member of our coaching staff, you will be responsible for developing and implementing training programs for youth basketball players.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement training programs for youth basketball players, focusing on skills development and game strategy.
  • Lead practices and games, providing instruction and guidance to players.
  • Assess player abilities and develop individualized training plans.
  • Maintain a safe and positive learning environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other coaches and staff members to ensure consistency and quality in training programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., sports management, exercise science) or equivalent experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience coaching youth basketball, preferably at the middle school/high school level.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, NFHS Coaching, Cardiac Arrest, and Concussion.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with players, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of basketball rules, regulations, and strategies.
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is $40 per class, $120 per half-day, and $240 per full-day.
