Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Childcare Worker to join our team at Education Service Center Region 11 Consortium. As a Childcare Worker, you will play a vital role in creating a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain a suitable learning program in accordance with district guidelines.
Establish and maintain a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
Perform a variety of tasks essential to the operation of the program, including preparation of materials, maintenance of facilities, and clean-up activities.
Assist students with homework and various school activities.
Work cooperatively with school site and district staff.

Requirements:

First Aid and CPR certified.
High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
Any combination of experience and/or training related to childcare that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is preferred.

Working Conditions:

Prolonged standing; frequent kneeling/squatting, bending/stoop, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
Continual walking; frequent climbing (ladder), grasping/squeezing, wrist flexion/extension, reaching/overhead reaching.
Frequent moderate lifting and carrying (15-44 pounds).
